Stu Strumwasser developed the idea for a great-tasting and refreshing, minty soft drink in 1987 while he was a student at Cornell University. His vision was for a clear and natural carbonated beverage that tastes like snow melting on your tongue.  Although the idea stuck with him for years, Stu was a musician first and foremost and spent the next fourteen years pursuing a career as a professional songwriter and drummer, while making a living on Wall Street during the day.

The concept for "Snow" had never left his mind and the marketplace for soft drinks had evolved so that the idea of a "functional beverage" was no longer unrealistic.  The success of energy drinks and many others had blazed a path for beverages that taste great, quench one's thirst-but also "do" something.  Stu had always believed that a soft drink or mixer that left one feeling refreshed would help bring people closer and he decided to bring the sparkling mint beverage to the marketplace.

As a vegetarian of twenty-five years Stu insisted on using only naturally-derived ingredients - and the first batch of Snow was concocted in the Strumwassers' small Horatio St. apartment in New York City.  After a number of trials and recipes, the first Snow went into production in the spring of 2005.  Today, Snow is a true original in the soft drink case.  Consumed as both a soft drink and as a mixer (most commonly used with vodka or rum) America is quickly growing to love the uniquely refreshing, natural, mint beverage.
